SelfBank is currently in rapid deployment of our (Halo) social commerce gateway. It's our foundation effort to open with a strong presence in USA, Canada, and UK in the opening months of 2009,  then moving into the 100 Countries there after, putting in priority those that have the highest demand within our pre-registration beta phase that is currently in progress.

In 2005-2006 SelfBank began the engineering cycle of their social mobile commerce engine, which first started in their participation in various social networking endeavors and then lead into them building their loyalty program engine.  They then quickly realized when connecting these systems to modern day payment systems of debit and credit processors and gateways, that it was lacking in 'forward thinking' technology for the future.  It was then, they began their trek into the mobile wireless realm and began building a system with attributes that can integrate into mobile connectivity.  This is when the worlds first M-Commerce Social Utility came to life.  

This is a first phase application for SelfBank as there are approximately 3   billion phones in all global markets, approximately 10 times the amount of computers.  This, along with the Social Media Phenominon within the last 4-5 years, will bridge the first ever cross over of e-commerce into traditional brick and mortar store fronts, creating a complete mobile commerce solution with social media connectors.  Yes, the first ever platfrom that will connect Social Media, E-Commerce, Mobile Telecom to traditional brick and mortar stores, all connected to you in the palm of your hand!  Not only will this extend e-commerce to ten times the audience, but it will take the physical storefront commerce to where it has never been, connecting it not only to the web and social media, but to the largest digital network in the world, the wireless mobile network, 10 times bigger than the internet itself.  For the first time ever, every indivdual and business will be connected no matter where in the world they may be.

Where SelfBanks strength lies is in the ability to provide mobile banking and payment access via social channels, allowing true P2P transactions to occur.  In addition to this, they have created the capability to extend and integrate to a retail storefront checkout counter. Our Point of Sale (PoS) integration technology allows for the interchange of transactions at checkout through the mobile handset with no requirement for additional hardware or software to be installed.

Over and above the standard SMS and WAP interfaces, we have created a scalable barcode protocol that can be customized for many applications.  Barcodes are optical machine-readable representations of data. Bar codes represented data in the widths (lines) and the spacing's of parallel lines.

SelfBank Mobile Intelligence (Mi) accounts will come with a subscriber identity in the form of a barcode, specific to that user and can be used at checkout on the screen of a mobile handset. This form of communication will enable scanner based checkouts to read the individuals account and communicate with COM based PoS connections. At the transaction stage of checkout the user will simply then key in their PIN code to confirm transaction. A seamless yet functional interaction. In collaboration with this, suport for customized ticketing engines, couponing and other verticals in the barcode space will also be supported.

SelfBank is also working on specific applications for specific platforms like the Blackberry, iPhone, Google Android, Facebook, and many other open source, wiki social media platforms. 

SelfBanks ideation and methodology is in the neutral footprint social gateway. Where our time and research has concluded that universal connectivity across institutional and carrier based corporations is restricted. A social application for equalized connectivity is a social commerce solution, taking from the success of social networks and from the position of the consumer need. Our open code API developer settings and neutral license will allow for all brands to monetize true transactions with a customized gateway engine that is universal and unique to SelfBank and our licensee partners.

SelfBank connectivity and server clusters will be appropriated in initial collocation data centers in countries that are neutral to infringent governments and dictatorial bank settings that would confine our global ability to service the consumer. Hubs will be aligned within our pipelines over wireless and hard-line connectivity and will work with satellite applications. We call our network (Halo), which is a central area network with a concentric ring around it. This focus allows us to expedite engineering cycles and application builds from a central (aura) centre. Rapid development of consumer and merchant demands will be successful in this manner as to stay current and also focused on bettering our outer ring Halo, commonly known as a trickle effect. In essence the capability of scaling and customizing applications will be aura centered with the outer ring halo receiving an excellent end user experience and allows us to critical path new applications that then go through many halos in engineering by API developers.
